Our next stop was Montreal, Quebec. It’s been little less than a year since I last visited Montreal and boy does time fly!
Our first night in Montreal was spent singing karaoke in a restaurant in Old Montreal (the original port, when there was higher tides). The next day, we visited Old Montreal again for lunch. I loved walking on the cobblestones there! Passing through Old Montreal felt like walking in Europe, the archeticture was distinctly French. It was very cold in Ottawa and the night before, but everything was starting to melt. I remember the pitter-patter’s of the thawing snow falling from the roofs in the alleyways.

The snowdrops caught the beam of the midday sun which made them look like tears of sunlight.
We then went to Ste. Catherine’s street for some good old shopping. Our meeting spot was a resaturant with burgers that reputedly tasted like Apples- iBurger!
I went to Simon’s- a department store with clothes in style similar to everywhere between Forever 21 to Billabong.
I even spotted Chloe handbags and Christopher Kane prints! Oh how I swooned…
Swirls of dusty nebulae and stars make the prettiest picture! The dreamy colours are just spot on and imagine how good the silky tops must feel on. These tanks make NASA‘s deep space photos (and my plain jane clothes in comparison) very jealous.
After walking around a bit more, I saw the perfect spring dress.
The draping is seamless, the pattern is perfectly arranged and oh, have you seen the dragonflies!?
Unfortunately, only faeries can wear (or afford!) these.
I ended up buying a dip- dye cardigan that started light-blue at the shoulders and turned darker shade by shade to the bottom. I wore to NEW YORK CITY! But I’ll save the details for the next post.
