Here’s a close-up of the dress:
She looks like she’s wearing a familiar feathered friend…
Doesn’t it resemble Björk’s swan dress (which is perf for Swan Lake) from the 2001 Oscars?
The Icelandic singer’s “infamous” dress was designed by Marjan Pejoski- I really recommend you check out his website: http://www.marjanpejoski.com/ and take a look at his most recent collection. It’s full of crocheted dresses, spiderweb prints, black and nude fabrics and sheer, skintight materials. LOVE LOVE LOVE! It evokes an ancient, magical forest feel. The Macedonian-based-in-London’s designs would work well with Thomas Sabo’s darker sterling silver peices: http://shop.thomassabo.com/canada/sterlingsilver_rebel.html. Both are gothic-chic in an understated way, otherwise known as what-I-would-dream-to-own-back-in-the-junior-grades.
I made this whole post and now I find out that other people wrote about it too?!
“In an episode of cartoon series Fairly Oddparents, Wanda’s twin Blonda attends an award ceremony in a swan dress patterned after Björk’s.” ~http://www.musicstarx.net/biography/biography-bjrk/
